How it works
1:1 sessions, in person or online, built around your farm's calendar rather than a fixed corporate week. We'll agree what you want to get out of coaching in the first session, then work through it at a pace that fits round the job you actually do.
Leadership and resilience coaching for farmers and farm managers
Running a farm, or managing a team on one, doesn't come with a manual for the hard parts: the succession conversation nobody wants to start, the member of staff who isn't pulling their weight, the year when the weather, the markets and everything else land at once.
Agriculture is one of the highest-pressure industries in the UK, with the highest rate of workplace deaths of any sector, and farmer mental wellbeing has fallen to its lowest level in four years (HSE; Farm Safety Foundation, 2026). Coaching won't fix the weather or the markets. It will help you carry the pressure better, make clearer decisions, and finally have the conversations you've been putting off.
I offer 1:1 coaching for farmers and farm managers, built around the real pressures of running a rural business, not generic leadership theory.
What we work on
Leadership under pressure: running a team, or a family business, without burning out.
Difficult conversations: with staff, with family, with successors.
Succession planning: the people and communication side, alongside your legal and financial planning.
Mindset and resilience: managing the mental load of a job that never really switches off.
Clarity: what you actually want from the farm, the business and your own life, and a plan to get there.
