How I help
The people side of agricultural business.
Sometimes you know something isn't working, but you can't quite see what it is.
The team isn't pulling together. A good manager is struggling. Communication has broken down, or good people are leaving.
I help leaders in agricultural businesses understand what's really going on with their people and work out what needs to change.
I don't arrive with a ready-made answer. I start by understanding your situation, then work with you to identify the right support for your business.
Bespoke people and leadership support
Every business is different. I work with agricultural businesses to understand their people challenges and identify the right support for their situation.
That might mean coaching a leader, developing managers, facilitating a team conversation, delivering training or working through a wider organisational challenge.
We start by understanding what's happening, then agree what would be most useful.
Understand the problem before deciding what to do
It isn't always a skills gap. Sometimes it's a people or leadership problem underneath it.
A manager who is struggling may be excellent at the operational side of the job but have had little support in learning how to lead people. A team that appears resistant to change may have concerns that haven't been heard.
I help you look beyond the behaviour, understand what's happening and decide what needs to change.
My approach is built around three things:
People — understanding what's happening for the people involved.
Perspective — looking at the situation differently and identifying what you might be missing.
Possibility — working out what could change and agreeing practical next steps.
